Angel Stadium of Anaheim, nicknamed “The Big A” was originally known as Anaheim Stadium and later Edison International Field of Anaheim, is a beautiful ballpark located in Anaheim, California. It opened its doors in 1966, and has served as the home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball (MLB). The stadium was also the home of the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL) from 1980 to 1994.
As the fourth-oldest active Major League Baseball stadium, behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Dodger Stadium, the venue hosted the 1967, 1989, and 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Games.
Located in the heart of Orange County, near the Honda Center, it holds a capacity of 45,000 seats (as of 2015), and like most popular sights in Southern California, getting to and leaving the area, at times, may be an issue due to heavy traffic.
